Summit 2020 venue announced

The Summit will be held at CKRH which is at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington

The Best Horse Practices Summit Board of Directors and its executive director are pleased to announce plans for its fourth annual, two-day conference. It will be held in one of the country’s horse hotbeds – Lexington, Kentucky, on October 17-18.

Registration begins March 1.

We will be excited to see you on the grounds of the Central Kentucky Riding for Hope facility, a large and pristine horse campus located at the world-famous Kentucky Horse Park.

“The Summit continues to bring its unique and exciting style of conference to new audiences. We’re looking forward to showing this region what we have to offer and we are equally thrilled to check out all that the area boasts in the way of horses and horsemanship. We thank CKRH for this wonderful opportunity,” said Butcher.

CKRH is a renowned riding facility and a PATH International Center for Excellence which specializes in helping children and adults with special physical, cognitive, emotional and social needs through therapeutic activities with the horse. BHPS board member, Josh McElroy, is a PATH International certified instructor here. The Summit academic and arena presentations will be held in CKRH’s spacious, yet intimate conference quarters and indoor arena.

Early confirmed presenters include Warwick Schiller and Jec Ballou. More details to follow.

Save the date. Make it a vacation. Take in the panoply of local offerings, including historical tours, craft breweries and distilleries, and, of course, enough horse-centric elements to make your head spin. See you in October!
