Save the Date! Mini Summit in 2025
The Best Horse Practices Summit Board of Directors and its executive director, Maddy Butcher, are thrilled to announce a conference event for 2025. Join us in Santa Fe, New Mexico, for a “mini” Summit with a focus on riding and understanding our horses, especially from the saddle.
As past attendees can attest, collaboration is a popular Summit tradition and this mini-Summit will be even more so. Our four renowned presenters, to be introduced in the coming weeks, will work together during nearly every presentation.
You’ll get different perspectives and strategies from professional trainers who share deep foundational principles around best horse practices.
Join us April 4-6 in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This two-and-a-half-day conference will include but not be limited to eight arena presentations, as well as round table discussions, question-and-answer sessions, and a trade show. Coffee/tea service, lunch, and evening receptions are included in the $700 registration fee.
Registration begins December 1.
Stay tuned for details.
Will you have hotel reservations available as well?
Thanks for your interest, Lisa, and we look forward to seeing you in April. The Summit will not be reserving room blocks at local motels.
Can you provide a list of motel/hotels near to where the summit will be located?
Thanks for your interest, Sara! Unlike past Summits, we will not be able to help with lodging. But please note, our Summit arena will be at 69 Bonanza Creek Road in Santa Fe. We hope that helps with your lodging search!
Who are the presenters?
We will be sharing our presenters around Thanksgiving time. Stay tuned and thanks for your interest!
Is this for horse and rider? Or just for humans? It’s a long way to bring a horse from Ohio.
Thanks for your interest, Lisa! The Summit will feature presenters on the ground and in the saddle, commenting and instructing each other. There may be a few demo riders but no riders as attendees. Hope to see you in April!
Who will be the speakers this year? I may be able to catch it as I’m in Santa Fe regularly. Thank you.
